The drought across the country has taken its toll on crops, causing farmers to lose money. Grass that was once green has turned brown and resembles straw. There's a great need for rain. Many municipalities have limited the days in which residents can water their lawns. We need rain! The record-setting high temperatures have also caused many people to suffer heat-related illnesses.
